This sterling silver Modernist brooch is signed A*D and is a 1950s German design by the Andreas Daub company.
As a young goldsmith, Andreas Daub founded his company in 1872, which still bears his name today. Today, Kurt Daub is the fifth generation to run the company. Legendary watch chains, art nouveau collections and the production of the first doublé jewellery in Germany shaped the first decades of the company’s history. Even today, the name Andreas Daub stands for high-quality and diverse jewellery worldwide.
Every single piece of Andreas Daub jewellery is still made at the traditional location of Pforzheim and is therefore “MADE IN GERMANY”.
Crafted from sterling silver, its sleek modernist form captures the delicate elegance of the ocean waves.
