80s Lucite Striped Brooch

Designed and manufactured in 1980s France, these large Lucite brooches are amazing.
They are very difficult to photograph. They are clear, glasslike. With stripes of electrical tape. Against the green fabric they look stripey but it is a distortion of the fabric behind the clear brooch.
The best photos to show the amazing material and size are the ones on my hand.
I found one in the USA that its owner dated it to the 1940s but I think that they are later. Earliest is 1960s and latest is 1980s based on the pin.
But hand on heart they are giving me 1980s vibes. The electric tape gives a DIY feel and the pin is contemporary to my lifetime.
They are a huge statement piece. Very cool. I have kept one for myself.
