This gorgeous contemporary brooch has been made using Compact Discs to give the effect of Shattered Glass and was designed and made by Kate of KTCD UPCYCLED.
Based in London, Kate upcycles CDs for her one of a kind pieces. She hand cuts and puts previously discarded CDs through many processes to create these fantastic sculptured brooches.
Wearable art, the edgy aesthetic of KTCD UPCYCLED is perfect for people searching for "conscious couture". The Sea Glass Shattered Collection reflects Kate's belief in reusing, reimagining and repurposing materials. And, they are very cool.

KTCD UPCYCLED was born of a passion for recycling and beautiful jewellery. Kate began making jewellery from old CD's in 2018, developing her own process to create unique pieces that resemble Murano glass. Her curiosity of what could be created from reclaimed materials led to the inclusion of more unusual and unexpected collections.
